    I do use it on a gas stove to heat water several times a day but only on medium not high heat

    If you use looseleaf occasionally you can tea particles get stuck in the glass slits at the bottom of the infuser

    Just clean tea stain with baking powder and itll come right off also works for coffee stains dthe one minor annoyance is that the infuser reaches the bottom third of the tea pot so you cant really make a single serving tea otherwise water in the pot cant reach the infuser

    It cannot and must not be used on stove top of any kind and product home page specifically indicates written in bold“we do not recommend using any glass teapot on the stove top
