Pros & Cons
Pros
Grosche moka pot is one stop shop for creating cubano's. Coffee, water, sugar then pour. The pot itself feels very sturdy and is made with a fairly thick metal.
Great product grosche with a nice price. Greta price and so easy to use and clean. The included instructions are easy to follow and important. Totally satisfied with the process.
Cons
The coffee that's brewed is fine, depending on the roast of the bean, nothing to do with the design. Used regular kitchen scrubber, not metallic ones. Not stainless steel.
It seems the culprit might be the filter, which it appears never went through any kind of finishing or sanding when the holes were punched. The plastic gasket between the two main (screw-together) pieces is also way too thin. Then goes through another... Read More
Highlights
Quality
The over pressure relief is well positioned and seems to be well built as well
Its functionality is also top notch and it’s made of very high quality ingredients
I bought this moka pot when our espresso machine got broken
As the water heats up its forced through the coffee grounds extracting every ounce of flavor and aroma
Price
Best 25 ive spent in a long time
I highly recommend this brand as its a great value for what you get
Overall it seems like a nicely built pot for the price especially
Shipping
Don’t know where on earth they get “3 cups” from unless i was sent the wrong one
Packaging/appearance
Once i opened the box i tried it a couple times on the stove
I received and opening the box was without paint in a corner upstairs but the rest is fine
The first photo you can see scratches when i unpacked it
Competitiveness
The result is a bold and rich espresso that rivals the best coffee shops in town
More intense flavor undoubtedly compared to the regular coffee makers that you find in the us
The crazy part has been that the espresso is better tasting from this little device than my breville
Spurred by rewatching a recent james hoffman video on the topic i aimed to get one but for less than the usual bialetti’s that you find
