Ive found if you are putting one right on the edge of a board you still need to predrill which is not surprising no screw is meant for that they even countersink themselves perfectly

I like them so much i purchased almost 100 worth from 114 all the way up to 318

Although i purchased these much cheaper at a big box store they are fantastic screws

I was and am delighted with this purchase this is the best form of technology i find my self repeating screws arent screws
