Already used it 4 times and in one of them it fell from about 6 ft from the ground and it didnt break

It is not an automatic recoil so you have to wind it back inside but thats not a problem for me

I give it 4 stars because the device at the end of the tape measure coversincludes the first inch so anything lt 1 isnt measurable

There is also no stophold mechanism on the measure that ive seen on others that allows you to take your hands off the tape and it will remain extended

It’s quite a bit smaller and lighter and cheaper

Yea this thing would have to be a huge tape or you would need magnifier to read
