If you try to hit it with the top or bottom of the filter then you end up spilling grounds outside the box and hitting it right in the middle throws all the grounds against the bar hey dont spill outside the box but it covers the bar with a soggy coating of grounds

Its sturdy plastic and rubber but probably not really worth the £15 i paid
