What i have found that makes this thermometer not absolutely perfectwhen the screen is lit up which is whenever i am pressing buttons i have to hold it up and look at it directly in front of me

I messed with it for a while and then accidentally saw that the numbers and words when looking down at it instead of straight on as you would expect
