I tried to use it with my nexus 9 on the small tripod but it was too heavy and would tip over

The only challenge is depending on which corners your choose to hold it in place something gets covered up either the power button or the headphone jack

Almost perfect but does not work for original ipad because it blocks the headphone out and presses on the screen sleep button
