I wouldnt think it would work well on hard compacted soil but on earth which has been dugover it will till effectively to a reasonable depth

Using a 4 amph battery i was able to till about 80 sq m of dug allotment in about an hour before the battery gave out

Easy to assemble don’t use the round pin to hold the blades on it just falls out we used it on our allotment and the pin dropped out and we couldn’t find it anywhere so use the split pin instead they stay on it is so easy to use and quick

The battery life is not as long as advertised so i guess i only get 15mins at most
