They probably could have lasted longer but someone used them to strip a fiber optic cable and the kevlar yarn in the jacket dulled them to the point of uselessness

Finally after trying a few different wire strippers these are the only ones that will actually strip the very thin 28 awg wire i deal with all the time and not shred the wire itself inside the sheathing

These are great my only grievance is that the 22 awg stripper on the smaller one wore out quickly but luckily the 22 is also on the larger one

Of particular note is the ability of the pa 1118 to strip stranded 30 awg wire without cutting the strands – something lesser quality strippers cannot do well
