Pros & Cons

Pros

It also comes with two tips. A 'bullet' shaped tip, as well as a j-hook tip. I'm finished rewiring my house. I now have these tools waiting for the next installation.

The glow in the dark function is pretty much a gimmick but otherwise they are great. The glow-in-the-dark feature is helpful when searching for them in a dark attic or crawl space.

Flexible, yet durable and rigid. They are thinner than a lot of other brands but i like them more because they are more flexible. These stix make my life easier.

Strong and can take a lot of punishment - definitely worth the money. Looks like it will thread with my southwire sticks, and they could if i really need them to, but the thread count isn't the same. Good sticks, go together well.

Cons

Not only does this hardly glow after days in the sun, the case the rods came in was broken in shipping. On place of it was tape.

The rods are strong and helped fish wire thru 5 walls

Tapes and other methods were cumbersome and tended to get lost as they diverted to the wrong direction

These seem to be thinner then the usual glow rods they tent to bend more so with using 3 of them together it’s kind of useless

Price

Time is money and this has saved me a good deal of time

These have been worth every penny for the time and hassle it saves me

Not terribly cheap but for what they do its worth it

Competitiveness

Way better than those crappy rods that home dep sells

These are so far superior to fish tape its hard to make any sort of comparison

I had some otherbranded ones that used to leave little fiberglass slivers in my hands or on my arms

They are thinner than a lot of other brands but i like them more because they are more flexible
