Cables can also be connected from the top and bottom after using a knife to remove the moulded recesses. Mounting it with the wires being securely fitted is not very trivial.
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Works perfectly and very easy to use. Works well for that purpose.
Neat appearance, compact and with 3 output voltages, adaptable. Compact, versatile and does the job. Great price too.
Cons
Product works perfectly and is easy to fit but it is far too loud. If you want a cheap fix for a doorbell transformer that will die, this is for you.

Didnt work first try so had to swap inputs around which dont seem to be marked hence lost one star

I tried two wireless options but neither worked as despite having stated ranges of 100m and 300m neither reached more than about 20 metres through a single skin wall

This is an ac ac transformer so there is no rectification to dc or regulation of the output voltage
