Pros

These are quality fittings, with a nice heft to them. Strong and sturdy. Great fitting quality.

Quick connects are great for switching out spray heads or quickly disconnecting a hose from the hose bib. No more having to go back and forth turning the hose off, unscrewing it, * it in, turning it back on. Easy connect and disconnect.

No leaks, no corrosion, no problems. They plug in and out easily and do not leak a drop. Do not leak.

Cons

Quality is nowhere near the actual gilmour connectors i already had. These leak horribly, and are not recommended.

Fabulous product worked great high quality easy connect and disconnect

They are easy to install tip use plumbers thread tape to ensure a watertight fit and provide a leak proof quick connect solution

Only hose quick connect i have ever purchased that didn’t leak

Zero leaks through two seasons and theyre as easy to connectdisconnect as the day i bought them

Price

These cost a little bit more but will last me for a lot of years and they dont leak

Now these are not cheap but the saying goes you get what you pay for

Yes they cost more than the plastic but for us they make the daily work easier

These are pricy but they last forever

Competitiveness

Unfortunately they dont exactly match some of the cheaper brands and will leak if i try mixing so im locked into this brand

These do not interchange with gardena products

Ive purchased several disconnects before and these work better than the others

Havent tried the other brand but at least when i purchased these were way cheaper and work well enough i dont know why i would
