Pros

They are much better than the retracting kind for my situation. No fade or problems after 2 years. One for the shed and one for the garage.

Ft extension cord that i use for my blower and * eater.

Cons

The net which looks like a steel mesh basket is a cheap bunch of thread knotted together. The friction on the wheel is insufficient to retract even a 25' cord. If you go too light it slips and does not roll.

Nobody wants to make thier task harder on themselves so this winder is useless. Save your money & frustrations.

Horrible execution of the product. Flimsy material & craftsmanship. Took forever.

Only tools needed for assembly are a phillips screwdriver. Take the bracket off the unit and place it on the wall orienting your center mark at the top. Then mark holes and screw the bracket into the wall.
