Pros

The barley is hulled, it absolutely has the outer hull and is not pearled. This is far superior to grocery store pearled barley. Our family prefers the taste and texture of barley and we will reorder soon.



Cons

The germ that's clearly visible on sh's product is barely there or missing altogether. The surface also looks more polished, and when cooked, it get mushier. Turned out to be very expensive chicken feed.
