What i didnt think about is the fact that the hook is 65 inches from the bottom of the prongs to the highest point of the hook

Unfortunately the bird feeder hangs from the little curved end hook at the bottom of the overall curved hook so its really only a little over 4 ft from the ground

Also the shipping box is utterly ridiculously large

It should be at least another foot longer preferably 2 more feet longer so i can figure out how to keep the squirrels out of the feeder

They go up that halfinch diameter pole like it was a tree
