This pad is further forward with more padding in the groin and less on the butt cheeks than my other cycling shorts and when i first put the shorts on it felt like it was in totally the wrong place

This pocket is only really big enough for a door key a phone won’t fit so whether it will be of any use or not depends on what you carry on your cycle rides

Really good pair of shorts super comfortable well made and good fitting im a 34 waist and a large fits perfectly but the padding is although good quality super biased towards the front of the shorts so probably brilliant for road bike riders but as a sit up hybrid rider offers very little padding in the seat area ill use them for my 20 minute commute but any further than that look else where
