Pros & Cons

Pros

Graph tech tusq fully compensated acoustic guitar saddles come in several sizes. Tusq is unlike any other nut material out there. Now the j-45 stays in tune and sounds as it should have from the boys out at the bozeman factory.

This is fantastic. Worked perfectly as a replacement. The sound transfer is incredible.

The fa100 is also more resonant. The xl means it's impregnated with ptfe (teflon) so it's slippery.

Its time consuming but worth it. Take your time. The mids got a big boost.

The sound after installing the new bridge is louder, brighter and resonates or rings more. It's possible that tusq really is better than bone, but it's not obviously so. Immediate sound increase using this bridge over the previous plastic cheapie.

Cons

The proper one is pq-9281-c0. Tusq 1/8 compensated godin saddle as listed on graphtech's site.
