Quality
I did extensive research for the carseat with the highest safety record for $200 or less and this one appeared most often.
I've been in 2 accidents and both were with the graco extend 2 fit car seat brand (new car seat after the accidents).
That is a pretty strong endorsement for any product.
I take the seat out frequently for washing the cover and leaving it with the babysitter.
Competitiveness
I needed this one since my daughter is so tiny i need a new carseat and this one works perfectly.
I've had a bunch of the other brands and they were all subpar compared to graco.
However it was kind of a pain to install and the tightening straps and hard to tighten compared to my chicco infant car seat.
I also know it can comfortably fit a 50lb 5 year old as it fit my nephew when my sister borrowed it.

You will eventually get the hang of this, but it is not well described in the instructions and counterintuitive.

Moving the crotch strap from one slot to another is even worse.

It’s supposed be able to recline pretty low, but we literally have to stick something like a towel underneath to make it actually recline.

If your base isn’t straight or your seat curves down, you’ll have to stick a towel underneath the base so that when you recline the seat, it actually looks reclined.

I can’t find a way to adjust it cause the plastic part digs into my baby’s thighs.
