Seems like an inexpensive design fix. The cover engages effortlessly (unlike my last one).

I am so incredibly upset after spending over $250 (2 bought) for this brand for them to not even last 1. Skip the frustration and just buy name brand. Warranty only covers a year.

Heating element is junk and will fail rather quickly. This device is a piece of junk.
