I had no idea that needing weight to sleep was a thing until a few years ago. When I learned about weighted blankets it dawned on me that I was not able to sleep without a substantial amount of weight on me but that has caused me to need to either turn the A/C way down or end up sweating from all the blankets. I've been eyeing one of these for a while but hadn't taken the plunge until now. I got the 15lb one as I read you should get one equal to 10% of your body weight. I was worried about it slipping off the bed since its only for an individual and covers half of our king sized bed but it doesn't. Obviously haven't had it long but I'll update my review if there are any long-term quality issues that arise. Need to get a cover for it now. Very happy I finally bought myself one :)   Read Less
