They are a * material, which is a bit retro, but they are very soft and comfortable. It's soft n comfy.

Cons

The fibers are soft but insubstantial. It gets matted down and is not able to be vacuumed well. We have to pull a lot of red strands out of the vacuum roller every time we vacuum as it gets stuck.

The texture is not as advertised. It reminds me of a disposable duster texture.
