The pad adds a very nice layer of shock absorbency and feels so much better to stand on. I actually think this will be better than having the area rug with the vinyl backing attached, since that is what usually breaks down over time and leaves the gra... Read More

Cons

This rug gripper is very thin and doesn't grip well on polished hardwood. The tackifier is very smelly for a while until it evaporates. It also bunches up underneath causing a lumpy rug and a tripping hazard.
