Pros
It's soft and cushy and a great large size. The heat relieves the pain in my back. This is for my wife who has shoulder pain/strain.
Just sittin cool, watchin the wifey stay warm. It heats very fast. There is probably a thermistor in the pad somewhere, i may try to characterize it later.
For those of us that don't have someone ready and willing to drape it over us in harder to reach places etc, this is what we do. For whatever reason, everytime i get up when i am using my heating pad, my cat will be cuddling with it when i get back!
Cons
The pad is so thick that it can be uncomfortable at times. I'm afraid it could be a fire hazard, so i have stopped using it. Made in china.
The heating pad only has 3 temp. When i turn it on, it heats up and then the light starts blinking on all 3 settings.

The control has a timer and you can manually turn off with the power button

Disconnecting the cord from the pad it shows you in the manual you can hand wash not recommended to machine wash in cold water and lay it flat to completely air dry before plugging it back in to the cord

Which is why i didnt put 5 stars you cant put it in the dryer because thats a fire hazard so you have to wait you can string it in a towel a couple of times to get as much water out but you still have to wait

This heating pad gets very hot on the hotest setting

You need to follow the instructions and not lay on this pad or you could get hurt

I havent had to purchase a heating pad in many years and the old ones were always super stiff plastic with a cover that never stayed in place
