Works great with the 8-specific polar pro filters, too. To save your gopro 8 from debris, dust and shattering. Only problem is when installed onto a chest mount it does not stand straight square upright.

It works wonderfully, safeguarding my new hero8. Easy to use and doesn't require a lot of fumbling around with fancy seals. Great for scuba diving.
Cons
The waterproof housing is useless in it's current condition. Fills up with water & humidity. We would have used the waterproof housing everytime if it wasn't so unreliable.

Also be sure to have your settings configured ahead of time because the touch screen doesnt work when the camera is in the housing

This is not an issue if you are mounting the camera on your kayak or bike but you’ll notice it using a head or wrist strap mount

However the hero 8 battery doesnt seem to be suitable for cold temperatures and this does not sufficiently insulate the device

The device would randomly power off on the ski trail in the middle of recording because of the battery being low even though it was fully charged the night before and barely used for more than 2 minutes
