Ive checked the metal with the magnet it sticks a bit to the walls of the kettle like it does to my stainless steel cup which doesnt have that taste

Whats interesting there are different materials used in the kettle the lid and the spout do not attract magnet at all while the outer surface of the bottom is very magnetic
