I couldnt tell you if the screen worked cause as i found on tear down without doing my homework the display is fused to the glass

That cant actually be done by any home gamer and i honestly dont know if a heat table would allow the separation of the lcd panel from the touchscreen

Good luck out there and if your g5s plus did break make sure you purchase a screen replacement with the lcd screen included

They are about 20 more but you probably wont end up like me 12 gone not even a cracked screen kinda working phone and still having to wait a week for the correct repair parts

I feel like i paid for the tools and got a free screen replacement
