If had to be picky there is no obvious indication of whether the soundbar is switched on or off unless you can see the led on the righthand side of the unit but that is a minor point

Once the soundbar is connected as described above the volume is controlled by the tvs remote control in any case

The bluetooth suffers latency so sound will desync from video being played but via the optical connection it is flawless

I had to return the soundbar i bought from amazon because the power supply included with the unit was not functioning
