Pros
Soft and chewy like cold cookie dough. Far and away, the birthday cake is the kids favorite. The cookieflavored bar is also very tasty. Just fyi - they have a soft texture, in case you are used to cherry or crunchy bars.
When i bite into the bar it melts in my mouth instead of being grainy. Good sweetness, texture is above average.
Lemon flavor is tart and yummy! Snickerdoodle an blueberry are both good.
Cons
They have a good macros which is the only redeeming quality of these bars. They give you an awful stomachache. Do yourself a favor.
The texture and saltiness are like eating playdoh. While soft and chewy, the mouth-feel is very chalky. The lemon flavor has even more chalkiness and more of a yuck aftertaste.
Soy based products and other protein bars use whey, sugar alcohols, and artificial sweeteners, which are displeasing to me. All that fiber is tough on digestion. Mint protein bars are falsely advertised as non-gmo.
This tastes seriously of off flavored chocolate. To me it also taste like a fig bar.
