Pros
Fast delivery, very easy to fit. Looking promising. Very pleased with it.
Limescale is build up around the taps, shower head and kettle. Cleaning the ceramic cartridges reduces the build up of limescale. Put one on the dishwasher feed and one to the water tanks in the loft. Was putting salt in dishwasher once a month.
Cons
Magnets do nothing to / don't effect the water hardness at all. It's possible that the inside of our pipes is in better condition. Perhaps with such excessive limescales in the pipes and the higher mineral content the magnets aren't actually strong en... Read More
Having previously studied physics the theory weighs up but sadly in practice for me it hasn't. After two weeks i have yet to notice any difference, though it is quite possible a slight improvement in lime scale build up may be noticed in time.

Competitiveness
We live in very hard water area and to our delight this item has helped in the reduction of limescale hugely
It uses permanent magnets to reduce the amount of limescale that builds up inside the washing machine etc
Kettle has a lot less limescale gathering in it
