Pros

The planter on top is a real plus and makes the barrel look more like a planter and less like a barrel. The gray color goes well with our patio pavers.

The unit is sturdy and large enough to please alright that it could ship without a box from the galapagos island shore. It has a small area for the gutter to go in that is covered with mesh. I'm happy with the purchase, but it isn't foolproof.

Top of the reservoir has a good aesthetic purpose and serves well for anything that is planted on top. The middle faucet is great to fill up my water pitchers for hand watering. I drain it out through a soaker hose which gradually waters my plants.

Cons

Top is screened, not sealed, it really limits what you can do with the barrel. Connecting it to another, overflow issues. I love this item however it leaks.

Vine "it's annoying. Pesky cognitive dissonance. It's a problem, it really is.

This way i am reusing gray water in stead of using chlorinated city water and im saving money

We will be replacing the spout to fix the problem

Itll be hard to scrub this thing out when the time comes
