The color is so pretty and the wheels shine nicely. The quality is excellent, pleasant to the touch, very neat and without threads sticking out.
The wheels are rubbery which is great for indoor as they learn and practice. The wheels light up and they seem to be pretty comfy on him.
They are comfortable and solid, easy to tighten around feet and ankles for good stability. The ankle support is great and tight. My weight is 170lb and they support me really good.
Cons
The velcro strap started tearing after just five uses. The brake is plastic not rubber which means the rollerblade wouldn’t come to a complete stop. However, the insoles come out easily when removing your foot.
He is super bummed because this was the only birthday gift he asked for. There seems to be a defective nut in the design. It seems the bolt came loose and was lost.

I am giving the skates to my granddaughter and in making the order was not clear from your descriptions what size to get so am not sure the skates are big enough for a 13yrs old
