This works perfectly! Saved a lot of trouble. Would definitely recommend.
Cons
But only with this adapter be able to read my codes on my truck.
The construction is typical inexpensive chinese-usable but not if you need it everyday. It's pointless to get this product. Sure enough the k and l were flipped.
The images currently shows a product that has narrower pins. The pins are much thicker than on my connector. The one pictured is the long male connector.

Paired this with the obdlink mx obd2 to get battery statistics from our tesla and it works great
Works exactly as needed and also feels higher quality than the other ones on here

Came with nice professional packaging and works perfect on my 2000 e39
Was able to scan my vehicle since no one uses these any more
Competitiveness
Cord is much longer than competitor which made a big difference
