This a nice wellmade cable but does not work with the tesla model s if you are trying to use it to convert the dock to support a usbc phone

The car came with specially fitted 90degree cables for microusb and for apple devices but none for usb type c

This cable is the perfect length for it but it is much bulkier than the stock cables that came with the car which made the installation difficult

However the plastic housing for the usb type c connector was too thick and too wide so that it did not fit into the space in the console
