Pros & Cons
Pros
Sole is sewn on, not glued. As an asphalt paver he’s pretty tough on boots.
This boot is suited for work in commercial maintenance, light construction work or simply all around use. Perfect for light duty/constant movement.
Boot is really lightweight and comfortable. Wearing good. But unbelievably light and comfortable, fit as expected.
The fit is good. Sizing is on point, although a bit wide. Ordering down a half size as suggested by other reviews was a perfect fit. Perfect, but not waterproof.
Real' merrel goretex light hikers from 1982 are still functional (sewn on welt) as are my 16 year old work redwings and 1984 herman survivors. Need a few days break-in. An all-day boot for the cooler months.
Cons
Ordered a size 8. Never had a pair of boots disappoint me so quickly. Get some wolverine or diehard wedge sole shoes for not much more.
