Pros

This outboard preamp is great for vocals. Provides plenty of gain for just about any source, with limited noise, and just the right amount of vintage coloration. Gives me all of the power i need for my microphone while have my daw just be a passthroug... Read More

No regrets for my 1st preamp. I'm encouraged that companies such as golden age project are again taking care to produce products of studio quality. They reverse engineer some classic pieces that i one day hope to own.

Cons

The new pre-73 only generates loud static. It seems to be an internal hardware issue. This device is a dud. The only upside is i had an identical piece of equipment.
