Pros

This gesso is great for canvas, canvas board, wood and 300 gsm watercolor paper. It works well with acrylic paints. Recommended for canvas & wood panels.

Nice smooth opaque creamy texture. It dries very nicely as well. Not gritty when dried.

Golden truly makes a superior line of products - i couldn't imagine choosing anything else! It’s the best i’ve ever used.

Cons

The gesso received is semi-opaque. Had to send it back. I understand that artist grades are available, but plain old pure white acrylic flat finish interior house paint covers better and is much cheaper.
