Pros

This flat iron works well in straightening your hair. I love the way these flat irons glides down my hair. It works wonders on this horse mane.

Heats up quickly and easily operated. It heats up in a matter of seconds and it doesn't snag at the ends.

Belson, the company that owns this brand is one of the few companies that market to african-americans. Works as well as the higher priced brands.

Cons

This is a generic, cheapened version that doesn't work well. My old one is about 8 - 10 years old, works great, but the coating is coming off of the iron. And what was really disappointing is that the ones i received looked used or refurbished.

This flat iron leaves my hair dry and dull looking. My new growth is not straight and my hair is pulled as the flat iron goes downward to the ends.
