Pros & Cons
Pros
This works great! But this stuff is awesome. This is the only lotion i'll use. Definitely recommend. Good stuff, this is fabulous!
It moisturizes and softens without leaving residue on my skin. Even if i don't reapply for a couple days, my hands will still feel moisturized. I was recently diagnosed with intrinsic eczema after years of never having any skin issues or sensitivities... Read More
The gold bond healing hydrating lotion with aloe is a superb product. This lotion goes on incredibly soupy and wet, but actually absorbs pretty well. It also contains soothing aloe.
Gone are the painful cracks and badly chapped fingers and hands! It soaks in pretty quick so the hands don't feel greasy. This is just as good but doesn’t make my hands breakout.
Cons
The dispenser quits working early when put into use. The lotion is great, however, i am very tired of the dispenser mechanism which is truly defective. Left two messages. No response. Now terrible. Just a horrible experience for me.
It has a very strong and lingering smell of very cheap dish detergent (think dawn orig formula scent) doesn't even moisturize. Now three days later, there are thick black hairs growing out of the oozing sores which are scabbing over.
Highlights
Quality
I like the fragrance the lasting power keeps skin soft for a long time without reapplying
It’s become a mainstay in my daily skincare routine and i believe anyone who values quality skincare would appreciate it
It’s not a very good lubricant unless you need some high viscosity industrial lotion
It is not good for cracking or splitting or very dry skin
Price
It’s priced reasonably enough that you can use it all over
For the price this lotion is terrific
It might seem a bit pricey but considering the benefits and the longlasting nature of the product it’s a worthy investment
Im new to the gold bond world ive using larosche pose ap lotion their thicker lotion and i love it but its a bit pricy
Packaging/appearance
The packaging is solid and i particularly appreciate the pump which dispenses the lotion easily
Even though the lotion is packed with hydrating properties it doesn’t leave an oily or greasy feeling on the skin
Competitiveness
If you get those dry feet from the shower before bed this is even better than johnsons creamy oil which is also a superior product
I have tried many many lotions and creams over the years but nothing works as well as goldbond
