Paramahansa yogananda is that seer. This is one of the deepest books you can find on the nature of reality, yoga, and the path of enlightenment anywhere. If you have read patanjali's yoga sutras, those are a cliff notes version of what's in here.
I recommend this book to anyone who wants to live more spiritually. It's quite spiritually enlightening. It seems to be true, these are new scriptures.

Ive read a lot of ebooks and oftentimes it seems like the publisher doesnt care too much about replicating the print edition which is generally very nicely typeset etc

Until i read this version guruji really explained this in a manner that was never done before of course it was mentioned before that py was arjuna in a past incarnation who else will do a better job in explaining the gita in its original contents than him
