The design of this toy is inherently flawed. Because one plays with this toy by swinging it around so that the cat can grab at it, there is potential for the cat's claw to grab onto the metal look and thereby have it's claw ripped out.

The most recent one that i got has a huge drawback that makes it basically unusable. Not worth the money.

This is our cat’s favorite toy he’s given up most of his old toys still loves his tunnels but this has totally revived his sense of play

She tries to drag this toy with her literally everywhere spite the fact there’s a 3 foot long plastic wand attached to it

We replaced the bird twice with our first wand but finally she chewed through the string

I know this item can be hard to find and pricey but my cats love it
