Quality

There are some quality issues, but overall this is a great pack at a great price.

The stitching and overall quality of the bag is way better than one might expect from such an affordable pack.

I also like the contact points sewn into the bag for attaching sleeping pads or whatever you like to the outside.

Another thing you will need to do is seal the inside of the pack where the brand embroidery is.

I like the pack so much that even if the buckle couldn’t be fixed i would have kept the pack!

Competitiveness

This is a hackable bag and you can shave a lot of weight off of it if you desire.

I took this pack on an overnight 14er bagging mission up in the sierras last weekend and it worked out great.

I wouldn't recommend carrying more than 25lbs in this bag.

This might be the most hack-able pack available on amazon right now.

If you are looking for an ultralight pack on a budget then you came to the right place.

I can't speak for durability as i just received the package but the overall construction looks to be quality.

Unfortunately, i'm 6 feet tall with a back length of 20 inches and this pack was too small on me.

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I knew the pack was too short for my back as soon as i loaded some gear in.

Its a little inconvenient having to dig all the way down, but that's the trade off of a roll top.

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

One of the buckles (the one that goes directly over the roll top) would pop open with very little pressure.

I believe i just got an oddball buckle.

I then marked the point where i thought the straps were hanging in excess.
