I have the upgraded aluminummetal thermostat housing so it installed without issue but i would assume the plastic one would have cracked if it was still in

I have had this part installed on my chevy cruze because i got a check engine light that came on and off after taking it to my nearest oreillys they couldnt help me figure out whether the sensor or thermostat itself was bad
