Installation does require a couple of items not included with the light but that seems fair considering the price
I might point out the the power source is a 12v transformer with timer that i had purchased for use with the old light

I would suggest to anyone buying these that when you get it take a screw driver and make ahure the screws are tight and for some added protection put hot glue arround the edges of the frame that holds the glass in to ensure you dont get water in em

Having experience with various of these type of floodlights that work at mains voltages i just went to open this one up to first inspect it only to find that the glass os tenaciously adhered to the frame
