I have read some complaints that even the new design is still too large of an opening for 12gauge wire

My only issue was when screwing on the collar make sure it is a straight shot onto the banana plug or it can catch the colorcoded band and rip it off

For me this was still a 5star product but i can see it being a disappointment for other applications

These plugs were too big for the 12awg speaker wire so like how others have suggested i had to strip 2x more off the ends and double up the wire so that the set screws would secure the wire in place
