Pros
It fit perfectly and powers my canon rebel t5i amazingly. Now my camera is lighter since i don't have to use a battery grip anymore.
Cons

As others have pointed out swapping batteries gets a bit old especially if you are shooting from one location

Make sure the battery door is closed or the camera will not turn on

The external power supply is light enough that you wont notice the added weight in your kit
