First off the par30 is threaded which as you can see is not going to work

The gu10 has the correct pins that this lighting housing is made for

Second of all the par30 bulb is so large it won’t even fit in the housing let alone the smaller gimbal

So don’t make the mistake i did and order the wrong bulbs luckily home depot had the gu10s so i didn’t have to waste a day waiting but there ya go word to the wise

Dont let the others fool you when they say that they are flimsy or made of cheap material

The box that holds the electrical connections is thin but it is no different than what you would get if you bought these from home depot
