They are available at ace hardware (special order, arrives in one week, price about 8 dollars) or order from amazon. A (500ma) adapter with a 3. Mm headphone jack. Easy to install and well worth the money.
Second purchase. Worked as stated. Brought for my 92 years old mother with one blind eye.

Has night vision and has a rechargeable battery. Contrast high, med, low. Love it great viewable monitor.
Cons
It does not look like a doorbell. The connection from the camera to the unit is very tricky. All in all, a flop. One reason i bought this, is the one reason that i'm returning it.

The night vision works fine as long as my storm door is open otherwise all i see is a white circle in the center

If the person is short they can be seen below the glare in the center
