Pros
Long tube provides a lot of leverage and can wreak havoc if it isn't able to swivel. Just as expected, only the straps that come with are very short. Amp; pulling the solar cover back on to the pool is a breeze.

If you are planning to swivel this out of the way i would not use the pins

The next day my wife was removing the cover and she did the same thing and it ripped the base off the pool and bent the shaft that slides into the pole
