Pros & Cons
Pros
It works as described, cushioning the sudden pressure change when a sump pump stops and eliminating the clunk sound associated with that. No more loud clanging noise.
Cons
Check valve clunked and leaked constantly. It uses a flap valve, which only closes when there is enough water pressure.
