Etched into the bottom of the glass are the words glencairn glass but you can only really read it through the spirit in the glass as the liquid magnifies the etched letters

The top area focuses the bouquet of the liquid in the glass toward the nose and maybe overly focuses it on initial pour

Glass bounced everywhere including off of one of those clay rock coasters and not a crack or scratch
